OMPlex supports error-free 10 and 25 Gbps data rates across 1000 m of OM1 fibre. Similarly, OMPlex Pro supports 10, 25, 40 and 100 Gbps data rate across 1000 m of OM1 fibre. Both devices can tolerate a recommended 2 connectors in a 1000 m long link with a conservative total loss of -0.4 dB. For shorter links, OMPlex devices will be able to tolerate higher connector losses or a greater number of connectors.
